Job Description

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Sales Account Executive. This individual will be responsible for generating media revenues for the assigned market to meet or exceed predetermined goals. This person will also connect and build mutually beneficial relationships with clients, various local businesses, agencies or individuals that have a desire to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, along with a drive to succeed. Most importantly - we are looking for hard-working salespeople who want to have FUN at work, make money, and help local businesses grow. 

 

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage revenue producing relationships with clients and agencies.
  • Develop new business through selling commercial advertising time by reaching out to local businesses and other advertisers.
  • Prospect for new business and build a full pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local businesses incorporating TV, online and digital mediums.
  • Provide input on sales promotion ideas to sales management.
  • Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising.
  • Other duties maybe assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must have extensive industry experience and business insight, which is utilized to create optimal strategies for the future growth of the company.
  • Experience with conceptualizing digital and integrated ideas and writing proposals for major accounts.
  • Knowledge of TV Research, Ad Sales & Traffic operations within the Cable industry.
  • Understanding of master data management, inventory management, pricing, estimates, planning, sales, traffic and stewardship.
  • Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to sell with limited research.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational, written and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Sales Force.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Competitive, persuasive, energetic and self-motivated traits
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Working knowledge of new media, digital interactive initiatives and social media
  • At least 2 year experience selling TV/Cable and direct response marketing.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
