Job Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities as Olympusat Digital Librarian / Creative Assistant will include by way of example and not limitation, all aspects of post production, including picture editing, music scoring, title session, final color correction, all audio editing and final audio mixing. 

• Log in all content (Tapes, hard drives, FTP) into the Olympusat archive system
• Copy all files from hard drive to the LTO Library
• Quality control check all content received
• Keep accurate records of all content and where it is
• Get the content to correct editor
• Maintain a sign in and sign out form for all content
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in Final Cut Pro
• Must understand the elements of effective promotion and program formatting
• Must know and understand the equipment generally associated with an editing suite
• Ability to operate in a production editing facility with superior efficiency
• Be able to communicate in a professional manner
• Working knowledge of MS office with advanced Excel skills
• Proficient with office equipment: computer (Microsfot Windows operating system), multifunction printer/scanner/fax/phone
• Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time managemetn skills.

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• Bachelor's Degree, technical degree or experience within Communication or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in producing and editing in a professional environment.
