Job Description

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales and building a clientele in the local, regional and national Mexican TV Industry. The candidate should have experience in consistently securing significant revenue and also the ability to “think outside the box” and target new and upcoming independent stations. S/he must already have an established reputation and track record of success, gained with any combination of major entities, teams or agencies. The position reports to the VP of Sales & Business Development.

    • Locate, Identify and present to potential independent TV stations that would benefit and enhance their programming grids with Olympusat Original Productions and Olympusat Classics film catalogues.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of new business prospects.
    • Meet and exceed all revenue goals.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at TV companies and their respective advertising agencies.
    • Understand the marketing objectives of prospective clients and their agencies, and determine how a partnership can help them achieve their programming goals.

     

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requirements:

    • Knowledge and passion of the TV industry.
    • Pre-existing relationships with senior-level TV executives in Mexico and preferably U.S. border stations.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
    • A proven track record of creating and selling TV Content.
    • High energy and a personality that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
    • Experience in high-level relationship building and negotiating.
    • Ability to work well with other team members.
    • Strong work ethic and a competitive drive to win.
    • Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
