The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and office support to the Director of Original Productions and senior management.  The individual must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting management in a diverse environment. The position requires heavy/extensive travel and being “on call” at all hours.  Experience supporting management in the entertainment industry is strongly preferred; however, to succeed in this role, the individual must possess strong character, thick skin, and keen ability to maintain calmness under high pressure to be considered first and foremost. This position will also provide support with TV & Film Scripts as it relates to proofreading scripts for the production team. Must have experience in media entertainment and possess creative writing skills and be knowledgeable in film language.




Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative affairs with the ability to quickly and effectively communicate with an expansive team; book heavy, complicated and regularly changing travel, handle errands with multiple moving parts with little to no notice or preparation, and provide support for other staff in the company such as executives during business hours.
  • Manage day-to-day emails and replying as appropriate, provide office phone coverage as needed, calendar management, scheduling internal and external meetings, preparation and submittal of expense reports, creating and editing documents, memos, and reports, ensuring the accuracy of grammatical format, spelling and punctuation.
  • Manage multiple tasks, maintain a high level of confidentiality, work independently, possess strong interpersonal skills, be a team-player and have the ability to multi-task in a high volume environment.
  • Support other executives as needed in back-up capacity.
  • Attend production meetings and provide departmental updates.
  • Responsible for proofreading TV & Film scripts and identifying potential scripts that Olympusat can pursue.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field, required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills required. Must be fluent, both oral and written.
  • An excellent command of writing, grammar, punctuation and English principles.
  • Action oriented and enjoys working hard; is goal oriented, energetic and willing to take on challenging assignments; seizes personal development opportunities.
  • Must have a flexible schedule that would allow extensive travel with short notice.
  • Must be flexible and available to arrange travel and make changes to travel arrangements on an “on-call” basis, including weekend coverage.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Hispanic community and the Hispanic market and consumer.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft office equipment and software to include: Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint.


Functions involve sitting for long periods of time. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting of items weighing up to twenty pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials. Moving from place to place within the office; some reaching for items above and below desk level. Spend long hours on the computer which require concentration and attention to detail. Ability to travel extensively.
