Olympusat, Inc. is seeking a Legal Assistant to provide day to day assistance to the EVP, General Counsel as well as her legal team of two (2) attorneys on an as needed basis. The right individual for this role will be an organized, proactive, detail-oriented individual with an interest in media entertainment and distribution space. Must be a well-spoken individual who has a desire to learn and develop skills in the industry through exposure and experience. The individual is responsible, first and foremost, for managing the desk of the EVP, General Counsel – from taking calls, managing the schedule, coordinating meetings and conference calls, and booking travel arrangements. Additionally, a successful candidate must have proven working experience as a legal assistant with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.


• Answering phones, handling correspondence with clients, coordinating meetings, conference calls, and booking travel arrangements.
• Duties include proofreading, redlining, formatting, and editing legal documents.
• Managing day-to-day calendar details, proactively anticipating scheduling conflicts; and providing daily administrative support to the EVP, General Counsel.

• Organizing and maintaining documents and files in litigation, conducting internet and other research, organizing exhibits for use at depositions and court appearances, and providing general support.
• Communicating with a variety of internal facing employees while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. As well, ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken), with executives and managers.
• Coordinating a variety of projects as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.



Bilingual (Spanish) and Paralegal are highly preferred

• Possess well developed organizational skills with the ability to efficiently gather, maintain, and organize documentation and other legal files, work independently and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys and management and external clients.
• Possess time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.


• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) and Paralegal are highly preferred


• 2 - 3 years of experience supporting an executive assistant
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with partners, filmmakers, and producers
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Positive, even-keeled attitude, quick learner with the ability to think on your feet and outside of the box
• Must have experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, and Outlook
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize to tight deadlines and stay focused under pressure
