    The Affiliate Sales Account Manager - U.S. reports to the Head of Sales and is responsible for affiliate and OTT sales for specific accounts within the U.S.  Responsibilities are, but not limited to, the sales of all Olympusat’s networks including Spanish language package and any Olympusat Digital Services.  Travel is required which entails affiliate and non-affiliate systems, visits to introduce and sell the products, effectuate distribution of those products and services and provide on-going marketing and maintenance of accounts.  Additionally, travel will be required for trade shows, system events and community events when needed. 

    Responsibilities

    • Target Telco Co’s & affiliates in the US.
    • Manage daily client communication and workflow of assigned projects.
    • Work with senior management to set a quarterly and yearly strategy for affiliate sales growth for both Olympusat’s linear and non-linear networks.
    • Work with marketing team on customized affiliate presentation material, as well as customized marketing campaigns that drive subscriptions of Olympusat Networks.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with key affiliate sales and marketing executives at regional and local level while working in tandem with Olympusat networks at the corporate level.
    • Provide strategic input for all affiliate communications to target Cable MSO’s, DBS Operators, Telco Video Providers.
    • Grow Olympusat’s subscriber base and revenue within territory.
    • Attend Cable, Satellite and Telco related regional functions, industry forums, conventions, etc.
    • Create a working sales funnel with a clear vision for ultimately achieving carriage for Olympusat Networks. 
    • Collect and process results for post merchandising analysis and ROI; help develop communication vehicles to convey results.
    • Develop a strong understanding of client’s business, market conditions, competitors and affiliate/ consumer promotion objectives.
    • Maintain a solid understanding of the industry, including technical, operational, marketing, local ad sales and new media.
    • Conduct a variety of presentations, product knowledge workshops and CSR training.
    • Work closely with creative development process and vendors to meet deadlines.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • Bilingual: English/Spanish required.
    • Programmatic Sales Experience.
    • Experience selling to media/broadcast affiliates within the US, Mexico and Latin America.
    • 5 years of successful experience in sales and marketing.
    • Ability to travel 50-60%.
    • Self-motivated and driven.
    • Strong projects management skills.

    • Enthusiastic attitude with strong leadership skills.
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
