  • Overview

    Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this member of the strategic communications team helps drive and direct all online initiatives for the brands while understanding the long term strategic vision and direction of all interactive marketing projects.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Works closely with the entire Marketing team to understand show positioning, marketing strategies, target audiences and goals to ensure ideas are on-brand and goal-oriented
    • Help Manage all aspects of building, managing and optimizing multiple interactive channels including social media, search engine optimization and website strategy
    • Aid in the development of digital marketing media plans and use data to recommend opportunities to reach target audiences through digital channels
    • Assist in leading all website update and design
    • Oversee design and creative direction for all interactive marketing including social media advertising, search engine marketing, video, mobile, and more
    • Aid to utilize both interactive and traditional marketing channels to achieve website optimization, digital presence goals, and conversion 
    • Support the team for all PR, Mass media and Trade marketing initiatives.
    • Drive effectiveness & efficiencies of all marketing efforts.
    • Help Lead cross-functional teams to bring Olympusat’s products to market.
    • Help Lead the analysis and reporting of current business performance, including brand sales and trends, brand health and creative evaluation, and brand profitability.

    • Identify, classify, categorize and can retrieve information as required by you or team members. 
    • Prepare thorough, accurate and consistent work reflective of the Olympusat’s quality standards. 
    • Adapt to workload and working conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
    • Develop and demonstrate a clear desire to learn, persuasive presentation skills for both formal and informal settings including be well-rehearsed and prepared for the unexpected. 
    • Make certain presentation support materials are consistent and in line with Olympusat’s expectations of quality. 

     

    Qualifications

    • Excellent analytical and creative writing skills
    • Bilingual English and Spanish
    • 1-3 years’ experience in marketing/social media
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism Preferred
    • Ability to take initiative in a collaborative team environment.
    • Knowledge and experience in all disciplines of marketing, including advertising, digital, events, media, creative production, direct mail, social media, content marketing, and emerging media as appropriate
    • Exceptional communication (both listening and writing) skills at both entry and executive levels, with the ability to resonate at all organizational levels
    • Experience in the digital interaction space (social media, blogging, etc.), for personal or professional use
